Pros: The EXTREME COMFORT, SUPPORT & DURABILITY of this mattress make it a real winner.
Cons: Con: My boyfriend's old mattress. Thank goodness he just bought a Spring Air "Liberty".
The Bottom Line: take your time, support is most important , get several opinions & hey always make sure you don't pay for delivery & that they take your mattress away.

| micheymosh's Full Review: Spring Air Back Supporter Mattress |
Here are the particulars:
I have a Spring Air Back Supporter Comfort Caress. I have turned it about a dozen times in the 6 years I've owned it. I know that's very bad right, BUT the mattress shows no signs of ware. No sagging what-so-ever. The edges have held up beautifully, they don't turn down at all. Most importantly, I still wake up every morning feeling refreshed (that is when I get a normal night's sleep)
About the company:
Spring Air is an innovative company that makes good supportive mattress for those who can't afford to spend $1000 + on a mattress. Even then, as in the case of my parents who prefer my $600 Spring Air back supporter to their $1800 Chattam and Wells the back supporter series is at the very least comparable to high end mattresses. The bottom line is that Spring Air has been a reputable company since the 1920's. They were one of the first to make mattresses without buttons (imagine that, having buttons sticking in your back while sleeping). They also use natural fibers, which I think is great. Plus the fabrics are antimicrobial treated to reduce the build-up of dust mites, molds and fungi, while inhibiting the growth of certain bacteria
The Series:
As for the back supporter (I have the back supporter comfort caress), it's the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on. This collection was recommended to me by a family friend that has sold mattress for over 25 years and what he told me about it has not only proven true by experience, but has been confirmed by others in the mattress industry, who have also told me that these mattress simply have more coils in logical places. They aren't just evenly spaced coils mounted on a cheap board (like many mattress is the $500 range have, believe it or not (I know I was shocked to learn that) Spring Air Back Supporter is designed with extra coils in the lumbar region. Unlike other mattresses (& believe me I bought a different mattress while I was away at college) the Spring Air back supporter provides zone support coils for your head, neck, back & shoulders.
Also, I know you are supposed to turn your mattress, but I have hardly ever done so (maybe twice a year for the 6 years I've owned it) and I see & feel NO changes in support. It looks and feels like the first night I slept on it.
Having had the experience of buying a second mattress (A Sealy) let me tell you that no other mattress, especially at it's price, will provide you with comfort and support of the Spring Air back supporter. Spring Air cares about it's customer and provides affordable comfort.
