Pros: Felt great in the store; Euro Top is a nice compromise.
Cons: A sinking mattress that leaves you in a chasm of your own creation. Con indeed.
The Bottom Line: Just stay away -- trying it out for 10 minutes in the store is very misleading.

| entanglebit's Full Review: Spring Air Back Supporter Mattress |
In retrospect, I really should have consulted this website before we purchased our Spring Air Back Supporter mattress...
We began shopping for a mid-to-upper range ($800-$1200 budget) Serta or Sealy mattress, and were redirected to the Spring Air brand by our salesperson. The Back Supporter mattress really did feel great in the store, and we both agreed that it had the firmness we desired with a certain level of cushioning that really made it ideal; just what we were looking for. So we went for it.
Well, after just one night -- ONE NIGHT -- we woke up with at least a 2" indention in the mattress. No big deal, I thought, it's the memory foam layer on the top (it's called a "Euro Top" mattress, with a small layer of memory foam instead of the softer padding in a traditional pillow top). Alas, this was not so; after two weeks of sleep, the indention is clearly not in the memory foam, but in the mattress itself. Not only that, but it has grown to 3" or more.
Wondering if this was a fluke, or some kind of a lemon, I consulted this website and saw the overwhelming consensus. Add me to that list. But I'm seeing mention of several months to experience the sinking; we're seeing it in a matter of weeks. Totally inexcusable.
This was our first mattress together; we replaced a 10-year-old hand-me-down that I used through college with this mattress. The previous one was more comfortable than sleeping amidst the indention.
Just save yourself the hassle and don't buy the Spring Air Back Supporter. You'll just end up returning it (if you're lucky enough to experience these problems within your seller's return window). That's exactly what I'm doing.
