Pros: Service okay, phones fine, music on hold is not too bad (I should know)
Cons: Billing system is horrible, customer service is nil. You are not able to quit Sprint.
The Bottom Line: Sprint is the Roach Motel of Cellular.
You can get in, but you can't get out!

| scottst's Full Review: Sprint Mobile Phone Service in San Francisco/San J... |
Sprint is okay for cell phone service. Coverage is good, they have good phones, blah blah blah.
But if you ever need to quit, for instance if you want an iPhone, or you're moving, or you want to save money by switching to MetroPCS or whatever, forget it.
Sprint just refuses to let you quit.
They have done the following to me:
1) Put me on hold and the recording says the hold time will e 20 minutes.
2) Hung up on me.
3) Connected me to an operator who didn't work for Sprint - no kidding, they transferred me to someone who worked for a totally unrelated company. This nice person says Sprint does this several times per day!
4) Basically given me the runaround, through different operators, and "retention specialists".
5) refused to settle my bill. They always say "they'll get back to me" and they never do.
The bottom line is I'm still not sure if my phone service is cancelled. Sprint continues to send me bills, every time I do call they say the next bill will be the last.
This has now gone on for 4 months.
I am sorry I ever heard the word Sprint.
MetroPCS is SO much easier to deal with and about 1/2 the price.
Didn't AOL get lawsuits about this type of behavior at one point?
