Non SLS Toothpaste That Rebuilds Teeth? REALLY? Squigle Tooth Builder Toothpaste vs Others

Written: Mar 25 '13 (Updated Mar 25 '13)
Pros:works fast, no sodium lauryl sulfate, no mint, no sweetener, rebuilds teeth
Cons:expensive
The Bottom Line: I didn't think toothpaste like this existed, but it does!  Rebuilds teeth, takes away sensitivity, and cleans teeth well- naturally and with no SLS or Flouride!

I have a difficult time finding toothpastes- always have.  I can not use sodium lauryl sulfate.  I need to have my teeth desensitized.  I also wanted to have my teeth remineralized.

Now before you are tempted to jump on the comment box and start telling me how impossible that is, please bear with me.

I have tried various products over time and have had a wide variety of results.  I used to use Sensodyne, but in recent years, it has not worked well for me.  I have also tried Arm and Hammer for sensitive teeth.  That worked at first but then not after a few weeks.

I was using tooth powder called Ecodent which did a good job of cleaning my teeth but didn't really help as much in the sensitivity department.  Was there anything out there that would actually WORK for me?

WHAT IS SQUIGLE TOOTH BUILDER TOOTHPASTE FOR SENSITIVE TEETH LIKE?

I came upon some information about a tooth building toothpaste that seemed too good to be true.  Sodium Lauryl Sulfate was missing.  There was not any sugar in it.  There was not any bad artifiticial sweeteners in this toothpaste.  I also saw tooth building ingredients which were more natural and no potassium nitrate which is what is so bad in hot dogs that people were telling us for years to avoid.

Squigle toothpaste is not a cheap toothpaste.  It costs $10 or so a tube, and is only about 4 and a half ounces of product in the tube.  There is no minty flavor in this paste, and it does not have any sweetener in it other than xylitol which is a plaque and cavity fighter.  There is also soluble calcium in it which is reputed to rebuild the teeth.

INGREDIENTS

Here are the ingredients that the company lists on their site:

natural xylitol(prevents plaque, from birch trees)

purified water (texture, from spring water)

calcite(polishes and cleans, plugs open tubules, heals decay, from limestone)

glycerin(moistener, from vegetable oil)

poloxamer(super mild detergent, from natural gas)

cellulose gum (thickener, foamer, from trees)

Methocel®(thickener, foamer from trees)

calcium propionate (antimicrobial, heals decay, from trees)

lactoferrin (antimicrobial, from cow's milk)

PRODUCT PERFORMANCE

How does Squigle work?  For the price of $10 a tube, I was sure hoping that it would be worth it, and boy I am not disappointed!

The effect of using this toothpaste was felt starting the first day I used it.  I noticed my teeth were tingling a little bit, and they seemed less sensitive.  After a week of use, my teeth were way down in sensitivity!   After a month of use, my teeth are feeling great- and they are not nearly as sensitive as they have been for years!

I have also seen some results combined from taking calcium complex powder from swansonvitamins and from using this toothpaste in my teeth rebuilding.  They seemed to be having some trouble with de-calcification and I can see they are going back to the way they were!

I have been under prolonged stress which has greatly affected my teeth, but this toothpaste has helped in ways none of the others has helped in my teeth.  This is very exciting to me!

Also, my teeth feel and look very clean- something that only EcoDent tooth powder has been able to provide me with for quite a few years now.  I plan to alternate use of the tooth powder and this toothpaste if I can.

The taste of this toothpaste is also very interesting.  It does not have additional mint or added sweetener, but the xylitol gives it just enough sweet taste that it is not bad at all to use. In fact, most toothpastes gag me and make me struggle not to wretch when I use them, and this one does not do that at all!

FINAL COMMENTS

Although it has only been a few months since I started using Squigle Tooth Builder Toothpaste for Sensitive Teeth, I have seen such great consistent results, I plan to keep using this for as long as I can get it.

The company is a US based company and you can find out more about this product and company at www.squigle.com or call them at 610-645-5556.
