Pros: works fast, nice smell and great composition, leaves eyes feeling refreshed, no animal tests
Cons: a bit too much liquid-like in texture
The Bottom Line: This product definitely works for many. It has a nice smell and composition, isn't expensive, so I see no reason not to get it if you have puffy-eye problems.

| djork's Full Review: St Ives Cucumber & Elastin Eye & Face Stress Gel 4... |
Watch out bloated eyes, because now no longer I will let you to expose those 4-hour sleepless nights I often get, or those numerous cups of tea drunk on a humid evening just before going to bed. I have been using this product for about half a year. It works for me, and from what I've heard from my friends, I would say that it works for most of people (~90%). The gel is supposed to reduce the puffiness and shades around eyes. It definitely works on the puffiness. The shades are due to either individual genes, lack of sleep, or health problems, so the gel does not do any good in this department. Long before our time of creams, and gels, and lotions, cucumbers were used to color skin in lighter tones. They were applied to age spots and the like discolorations - the statement that this gel "works on shades" may very well be due to its cucumber components. But the dark colors underneath the skin under your eyes are another matter. Personally, I have witnessed no color change.
The gel is light green in color and transparent. At times it feels a blessing as you apply a nice, cold droplet to the puffy areas under your eyes. Sometimes you just feel that you need to splash your eyes with some cold water because they just feel so sleepy. Well, instead of doing that, I now turn to this stress gel to get some relief. The result is almost instant. In just 10 minutes I can see a visible difference. My eyes feel more alive and my look is more energetic. The smell of this gel is quite enjoyable too. Sometimes I feel like applying it to the whole of my face. Do not know if it actually does any good, but it has this refreshing effect, however.
The bottle contains 113g of gel, but it will last you a long way - couple months at least. It is recommended for "all skin types" on the bottle. Ingredients include substances derived from cucumber, sunflower, matricaria, and other chemicals. No animal testing.
