Pros: inexpensive, does the job, moves easily.
Cons: a little bit noisy-not too bad though.
The Bottom Line: it doesn't have fancy features, but if you're short on space and money its a great buy. is a good, basic exercise bike.

| divathena's Full Review: Stamina Products Recumbent Air Bike with Tension B... |
well, i decided i need to re-start exercising. for me i need to go on a machine for cardio. (i won't walk around outside) in the mornings i'm usually too tired to do anything, so i thought a recumbent bike would be a good idea. because of the seated style i can go on, even if i'm very tired and get in my 10 to 20 minutes of light cardio to kick start my body for the day.
i purchased the recumbent bike at a walmart store. (i initially saw it on the website) its model number 15-4655. i decided to go with this one mainly because of price. it also didn't look like an "as seen on TV" type thing. i wanted to stay away from that sort of nonsense!
so i got to the store, and at walmart they will not let you actually try a piece of exercise equipment (because they're worried that someone will get hurt, and they don't want a lawsuit on they're hands) so i was then reluctant to buy it, but i decided to give it a shot. walmart is pretty good about exchanges.
so putting this thing together wasn't too bad. of course then we got to the foam handle grips! it says to use hand soap on the poles to slide the foam grips on, i thought putting soap on anything but my hands to wash with was a weird idea, so i tried to do it without the soap and it consumed more time than anything else! so please, use soap on the metal bars before sliding on the foam grips, you'll save yourself a lot of trouble!
so we finally got it all put together. by the way, in the instruction manual, it shows many different screws and parts. when you get everything unpacked it looks like there aren't enough pieces, but everything was included.
so the next morning i used the bike. and its pretty good! i'm quite happy with the purchase.
also the bike moves around quite easily. i'm VERY short on space, so being able to keep it out of the way until i'm ready to use it is another great feature. i also don't need my boyfriend to help me move it. it moves smoothly and it's pretty light when being moved.
the bike does make a bit of noise, but really its not too bad. i can hear the TV over it (without blasting the TV), and talk over it at a normal volume.
the "computer" on it that counts calories and time is pretty basic. i mainly use it for the timer function. taking a manual heart rate reading isn't too involved anyway!
