| LaFeet's Full Review: Stamina Products STAM Inversion Table 55-1527 |
So what do I know......
I suffer from multiple slipped / compressed disc in my lower back. How they got there was me being stupid or something (guess I should have never picked up that two year old colt).
I do know that for the 165 dollars I spent, I can live almost pain free for only 30 minutes a day. All I gotta do is start and end the day in my Stamina Products STAM Inversion Table (model 55-1527).
I have had the MRIs, and the exams. All point to a need for either surgery or physical therapy (PT). The PT seems to be the less intrusive method, so I opted for it.
After two months I am pronounced cured...... yeah right.
The pain returns, even with the daily excercise regiment. And the Naproxim Sodium intake returns.
After two years of nagging back pain I decide to purchase the Stamina Products STAM Inversion Table. And now I can smile upside down........ and get rid of the hiccups.
Where I live I usually have an extensive list of things to fix when I return home I manage to get myself in trouble at the house. The wife has such a long "honey do" list that I sometimes find myself almost completely hunched over tryng to accomplish it. After 10 minutes on my inversion table I can pop back up as a new man.
This system is simple to assemble and easy to store. The "table" portion separates and the legs collapse to allow storage anywhere. Ad in my case, easy transportation across country for continued applications.
With three table settings, one can readily adjust the angle and speed that the table shifts backward. The ankle clamps allow for height and weight adjustments for maximum comfort. Myself being a (rather) short heavier (dense) person, I find the 5'10" setting just about right.
Entering into one is simple. Just adjust the ankle length and then clamp the "boots" down. Next, relax and place your arms over your head. The shift in balance will cause you to swing backwards as your head moves towards the floor. I always feel the vertebrae easing off each other... in fact I rarely want to return to an upright position.
After just 30 seconds one can feel the stretching , and subsequent relaxation that the inversion table provides.
As you advance in your use you can add an inverted exercise routine to help stretch and strengthen you back {and whole body}.
While not for everyone,(and please consult a doctor prior to use) the inversion table is designed to provide back relief by reducing (or rather reversing) the constraint pull of gravity.
My doctor states that I am no longer hunched over as much. And I do seem to notice the upper parts of the bookshelf now (man are they dusty).
Try one, if not this model, then another. You can often find them in a Sports Authority or Dicks Sporting Goods excercise equipment section. Try it - you'll like it.
