Pros: non-breakable thermos carafe, removable water reservoir, timer tells when coffee was brewed
Cons: PRICE!
The Bottom Line: I recommend if price is not an issue. It has some excellent features. However, you can make great coffee in a much cheaper machine.

| scottandmarny's Full Review: Starbucks Starbucks Aroma Thermal Brewer |
I woke up the other morning and found the glass carafe for my Krups coffee maker was cracked. I've tried replacing these carafes before, and it's nearly impossible. So, time for a new coffee maker.
We walked across the street to our favorite coffee place--Starbucks. Problem solved...the carafe isn't glass! Woo Hoo. Not only is it not glass, but it's a thermos, so I don't have to pour the coffee into a separate carafe to keep it hot. Plus it was $50 off, so how could I pass that up?
Things I like:
Thermos so coffee stays hot and doesn't cook
The removable water reservoir, so it can be filled at the sink
The timer that tells me how long it has been since the coffee was made.
It's FAST!
Now for the coffee itself...I have to be honest and say that it doesn't taste any different than the coffee that I made in my Krups maker. So, if you're just looking for great tasting coffee, you could spend a lot less on the pot, and take the time to measure carefully (which is the secret to great coffee!)
Now, if you like very sleek and stylish appliances, then the stainless steel Barista Aroma Grande is for you! As appliances go, it's pretty. However, this isn't a priority for me.
