Pros: Looks great in my newly designed kitchen with stainless steel appliances.
Cons: Doesn't make the coffee as hot as claimed. Doesn't stay hot long enough.
The Bottom Line: This thermal brewer does not keep the coffee hot as claimed. Use the money for a good thermal carafe.

After reading the reviews of others on this website, I bought the Barista Aroma Thermal coffee maker from Starbucks. I felt lucky because I got it on sale for $90. I wish I had returned it right away but I didn't. It doesn't make such piping hot coffee as claimed. It does not stay hot very long as claimed. We set it to brew the coffee at 5:30 a m for the earliest riser and when the next person gets up at 7:00 a m, the coffee has to be heated in the microwave. This is not a good thermal carafe. I would advise people to buy a separate thermal carafe of good quality and pour fresh brewed coffee in that. I know that a good thermal carafe will keep coffee hot for hours, hence the reason for buying the thermal model. Need a bottle brush to clean the carafe because the opening is small.
