Pros: It does make hot coffee, and the carafe keeps it warm for a few hours.
Cons: Messy, difficult to clean, small carafe, and not the coffee doesn't taste that great either.
The Bottom Line: If you want really hot coffee, this may be the one for you. If you want good coffee that can be served from a clean carafe, look elsewhere.

| tapgrq's Full Review: Starbucks Starbucks Aroma Thermal Brewer |
After having read a few reviews about this coffee maker I decided to get one. I was extremely disapointed. As someone else mentioned, the white model stains badly with normal use. I should have taken that comment a little more seriously. The inside if the opening is now almost brown from only about 2 months worth of use. Not very appealing. The cap for the carafe is also difficult to remove, and when you do get it off, there's a really good chance that there will be some coffee stuck under the plnger in the lid that will spill.
The coffee maker does make very hot coffee, but I've found that temperature is not everything. I've had Braun and Krups makers in the past that may not have achieved this temperature, but tasted better, and were much less expensive.
One last thing, the coffee maker is labeled as an 8-cup carafe. That's 8, 5-ounce cups, not the more common 6-ounce cup.
