I always wonder how the Starbucks ground coffee products would be, I see many flavors available in grocery stores now, but expensive for my grocery budget for my house (my husband give me $100/week for grocery, that I have to buy staff for 4 people including "always-Hungry 17 year old son" and " can't live without childish bad food habit husband" (his snack costs $20 and more), so whenever I need (or want) something cost more than $5, decision is difficult for the budget. (you see, $100/week=approx $14/day. if I buy Pantene shampoo at $5.99 today, I have to manage the day with $8, for 4 people to eat, it's like that). So, for this reason, I had never tried Starbucks ground coffee at home (I have visited the store to drink coffee in store, don't worry). My nearest grocery store sells it at $9.99 (I think), but last week, it was included some promotion discount sale and $3.50 off, it was still over $5, but I decided to buy because other promotion items were cheaper than usual as well, (like ..I paid Jello jelly mix only 27cents, Tidy cats cat litter only $4.59.. like that). But so many flavors available even in the grocery store, I checked everything on the shelf, I tend to pick something unique usually, but since I am not so expert in coffee(the reason I drink is mostly because the weather is cold and something like that), so simply I chose "House Blend".
The package says the flavor intensity of this flavor is Medium, and Tasting notes says "Lively, Balanced", so I think good for not-so-coffee expert people. I think I chose a good one, it tastes just right, not bitter, not too thin, smells great as well. I've been drinking 3 cups/day or more since I bought this.
Great for anyone. you can serve any guests who enjoy coffee. I don't know why other Epinions members rated this only with 3 stars, this is okey with me.
