Pros:No batteries needed!
Cons:Have to restart the lights and movement.
The Bottom Line: A little more expensive than other swings, but with the features, well worth it!
When looking for a swing, I wanted one that would plug in and could move in two directions - the side to side and front to back. Both are features that other moms said they couldn't live without when I was asking for recommendations. Now that my daughter is here, I found she loves watching the lights! She'll fall asleep fascinated by the lights, sometimes the only way I can get her to sleep other than walking around the house with her. She also likes swinging in both directions, so we would have been okay without that feature, but still appreciate having the two options. However, I do have a friend's daughter who only will take swinging front to back, so she can use it when she visits and stay happy.

My only complaints thus far have been that even though it's plugged in, the lights and movement turn off after 7 minutes and need to hit the reset button to restart them. That's only supposed to be the case if running on batteries according to the instruction book. Also, in the pictures on the website, it looked blue, but it's definitely purple. I don't mind for my daughter, but picked this one figuring if our next child was a boy, it was a lot better suited when I thought it was blue.
