Used Anything - isn't always complete (Reply to this comment)
by loxx
You purchased this bed used, and it sounds like not all the parts were there. You don't need a firm mattress with this bed. There is no gap between the wheels. It sounds like you're missing a board that fills in the gap between the wheels. Without the board there, you're experiencing a sagging mattress. Remember "consumer beware" when buying something used. Without knowing what parts SHOULD be there, you couldn't know what parts WEREN'T. It's been a while since you've posted, but if you still haven't sold the bed, you might try having a board cut at a local hardware store that fits the dimension gap.

I always wanted to get this for one of my sons (Reply to this comment)

But I never did since I figured assembly would be a chore.
Well you lucked out getting it at a garage sale, but too bad about directions. I think the owner showing you how to do it was a good idea on her part.
Have you tried ebay or is that where you are selling it?
Here in our area they have The Recycler and Penny Saver, and those are pretty much nationwide and online with free ads.
Good luck selling and here at Epinions. Thanks for sharing your experience with this bed.
