Pros: Great Wine List
Cons: Poor Service
The Bottom Line: For the money you would spend here, go into Boston and enjoy one of the many fine Hotels that the city has to offer.

I saw this establishment highlighted on a Boston Television Show and thought that it would make for a great get away week end for my wife and me. Things went wrong from the beginning. The suite that I had reserved was in fact not reserved for me and I had to downgrade to a room with less amenities promised at the time of the reservation. The massage and pampering that my wife had looked forward to had to be canceled because the masseuse did not show up. It was quickly explained away as a Scheduling error. No one even attempted to compensate for the inconvenience. How can you advertise as having a luxurious Spa when the employees do not show up? On a weekend no less. Our dinning experience at Silks was much the same. The meal was fine and the wine list impressive but the service was confused and sloppy. The hotel and restaurant staff need lots of training. Needless to say, we shortened our get-away weekend the following afternoon poorer for the experience. The service and professionalism was not 4 star as advertised. I have stayed at 4 and 5 star properties and I must say that this establishment has a long way to go to get to that level. I will not return.
