We took my 2 1/2 year old son to Storyland last year while staying with family about 45 mins. away. The smile on my son's face the whole time he was there was worth all the money in the world. But what makes Storyland even better is the affordability. Not only was the entry price pretty cheap (in comparison to Disney), but even the food there was cheap. We got lunch (and a good amount of it too) for all three of us for only $12. And ice cream was something like $1.50 for a good-sized cone.

The park is a wonderfully manageable size for the little ones and the rides span ages of about 2-8 I would say so there's something for each age of younger kids. It's totally do-able to enjoy the whole park in a day or two. And if you make a long weekend of it, North Conway is a great family vacation destination.

I can't wait to go again this coming summer and this time take our younger soon too who will have just turned two.
