and scary. I worked with a child that was on round the clock (almost) theapy-he made incredible strides. Each child is different and each responds differently. I wonder why in all my years parenting I'm only now hearing so much about Autism. It's as tho it didn't exist until recently

Bonnie, you cannot blame a mother for wanting an instant cure! A friend with a non-verbal autistic 4-year old recently attended a Defeat Autism Now (D.A.N.) conference. She came home with an overwhelming amount of information on nutrition, detoxing, hyperbaric oxygen treatment, and other approaches. She eliminated gluten and casein from his diet, noticing an immediate improvement. Now she is taking her son for a complete nutrition assessment. Unfortunately, a one-cure-fits-all answer to autism has not been discovered yet. Some approaches seem to help some children. This author's approach seems to be questionable - see review and interview here:

Hi Letta -

Actually I did my ebook back in November and just today sold my 17th copy. The cover was artwork by my son.

Bonnie you need to write that book with this kind of books out there it is going to give the wrong idea to so many people. You have a great understanding of this type of child and need to get the message out there.

With your writing on bellaonline they put out an ebook which I am now doing on golf. You can just compile all your articles on there and arrange them in ebook form. Should be great as it can be sold through your web site.

I thank you for alerting me about this site.

Thank you. I wouldn't want to read a book that had so many negative vibes in it. My son has Aspergers and although he has problems, I also see all his positive traits.
