Stratosphere away

Me and my friends stayed at Stratosphere for the weekend back in February 06. We were very excited to be in Las Vegas, until we saw the hotel it was horrid. It is a very unpleasant place and it is on the strip but on the very end and to get to all the excitment you would have to catch a bus or spend a fortune on a cab. It was very cold so we had to stand out there in the wind to catch the bus.
The outside looks okay but in the interior the carpet is outdated and so is the furniture. The worst part is the swimming pool I had a hard time finding it because it is like a maze in there it is very confusing. When I finally go there the pool is very small compared to the other fancy pools. For the price we paid we would have found something better.
The slot machines are okay but it looks like an old western hotel and the elevators took forever. The restaurants were okay and there was a little strip mall that had some stores but still I would not stay there again. We stayed there for 3 days and not one day were we interested in going to the stratasphere roller coasters, it was such a waist of time.
