First, let me state, that the name "Mustela" is associated in my mind with expensive products that I'm sure celebrity moms of all kinds use. It makes me feel kind of snobby to own anything with the Mustela name on it.
That said, the Stretch Marks Double Action Cream, while certainly creamy, did nothing to prevent stretch marks on this belly. I'd provide photos to prove my point but I'm sure we'll all be happier without those, but I will say that it's not do to me "expanding" more than average.
The Mustela cream is intended to hinder stretch marks from becoming a reality during pregnancy. It, to its credit, does not purport to get rid of those marks which were untreated during prior pregnancies. The process is obvious---simply apply the cream to the area you feel will soon have those lovely shiny lines from stretching. Mustela will do the rest.
In the end what Mustela does is charge you a lot for a body/hand cream which, although possibly filled with some extra vitamins and minerals, doesn't do a thing for what it's marketed. So you're out $32, still have your stretch marks, and Mustela is a bit richer. Well, at least you felt like a snob for a while.
