It has a personality of its own. That's why sometimes, it decides to annoy me in the brilliantly unoriginal way of breaking out. Pimples. It's a dreaded word. Pimples are everyone's worst nightmare, and you know that at night while you are asleep your skin evilly plots to make your life miserable the next morning with a zit right in the middle of your forehead. Okay, perchance I am exaggerating, but only the unpredictable skin can be the judge of that.
My skin is combination oily T-zone and normal for 3 seasons. But with summer comes sweat and heat and all-around oiliness. Oily pores= more pimples. I anticipated this, so I researched around for a new cleanser. Of course I have to have around 10 half-filled containers at once sitting on my bathroom sink. After much contemplation, I decided on Stridex Anti-bacterial Foaming Wash.
PaCkAgInG & PrOmIseS
Stri-Dex Anti-bacterial Foaming Wash comes in a SPIFFY clear bottle. The actual cleanser is 6 FL oz of liquid. There are 2 kinds, Cooling and Herbal. I use Cooling. Herbal is a green-based package, with green liquid, label, cap, dispenser, etc. Cooling is the same, but blue colored.
How pertiful!
On the label it has the Stri-Dex logo. Above it it says 120+ uses. More about that later. Below the logo it says "Anti-Bacterial Foaming Wash. Contains aloe and natural skin soothers. Cools & Soothes." On the back of the bottle it says that the active ingredient is Triclosan, of which there is 1%. This ingredient is for anti-bacterial purposes. It says that the cleanser is for facial cleansing & elimination of problem-causing bacteria.
"Warnings- When using this product: Use externally only. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, immediately flush with water."
HERE IS THE COOL PART!
When you press down the dispenser, the liquid turns into foam! I absolutely looove this design, as it's so convenient and you can accurately dispense as much as you want. To use, just pump the dispenser 2 times. This will give you enough foam to cover your whole face and neck.

aloe vera gel, ammonium lauryl sulfate, calendula extract, chamomile extract, cocamidopropyl betaine, D & C Green #5, D & C Violet #2, Diaazolindinyl Urea, Disodium Laryl Sulfosuccinate, ethylene brassylate, proplyene glycol, Propyparaben, Purified Water, Simethicone, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium PCA, SPearmint OIl, Witamin E and Witch Hazel Extract.
(A lot of chemicals, if you ask me. But this formula really works!)

I was THROUGHLY impressed with Stri-Dex Anti-bacterial Foaming Wash!!! It's lasted me at least 2 months so far, and I still have at least 1/4 left in the container. ::quickly does some math::so the 120+ uses claim is true!!!The light foam penetrates your pores, leaving them completely cleaned. There is a nice minty scent to it. I love the tingling feeling, although it is just a meaningless ploy to get people to think that the cleanser is deep cleaning. However, it IS deep cleaning! My pore size has been visibly reduced. In the whole time of using this cleanser, I've only broke out ONCE. And the pimples were decimated within days. These results are some of the best I've ever had from a simple cleanser. Excess oil and debris are swiped away. However, this cleanser does NOT exfoliate, so I use a separate scrub or AHA product once or twice a week.
What IS this triclosan ingredient?? It has worked incredibly for me. I've never heard or seen of it before, however. Usually acne/pimple medications use benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. I will have to don my gumshoes and Sherlock Homes hat to investigate this further.
Dry-skinners out there! You might be cautioned from this product. It does NOT moisturize, so if you use Stri-Dex Anti-bacterial Foaming Wash be sure to use a rich moisturizer afterwords so your skin isn't tight and stripped of oil.
Everyone else who has trouble with occasional breakouts or oiliness should Stri-Dex Anti-bacterial Foaming Wash. You will get great results for a great value.
