My husband has used my shampoo's in the past and since he has normal/dry hair they are to harsh for the mild dandruff that he has. He used to use head and sholders, but after a while that got expensive and he started to have a reaction to the shampoo. When shopping at Walmart I went down the shampoo isle in search of a shampoo that my husband has not tried and was not outlandishly expensive. After searching all of the upper shelves I found nothing, but by chance my daughter dropped something out of the cart and I saw this shampoo hidden on the bottom shelf. I will be honest I like the price of suave items since they are so much cheaper than others, but usually do not work and in fact harm more than help me anyway. I thought what the heck and went ahead and purchased it for my husband. At under $1.50 I did not think that it could hurt and if he had a reaction at least we would not be throwing away a large amount of money.

That night my husband used the shampoo. He was impressed that his hair felt clean and said that the shampoo made his head tingle a little bit. The ultimate test though was when he wore his uniform the next day to work. Anyone who knows military uniforms are dark colors and dandruff shows up pretty good. Nothing, not even a small flake was found. I had my husband sit down and me look through his hair and there was nothing. Even with head and sholders there were a few flakes after washing his hair, but to my amazement he had absolutely none with the suave dandruff control shampoo.

The suave botttle is white with blue lettering and a small blue and pink design in the middle of the bottle. The shampoo says that it is regular formula and for all hair types. The bottle is 14.5 fl. oz. and costs $1.42 a bottle. The shampoo itself is a robin egg blue color. The consistency is medium I would say since it is fairly thick,but not so thick that it is not easy to pour.The bottle has a flip top lid which is easy to open with one hand which is nice.

ingredients: sulfur, water, sodium lauryl sulfate, cocamide MEA, citric acid, and ammonium lauryl sulfate just to name a few. I will keep buying this for my husband since it works and works better than the more expensive brands that I have bought for him in the past. This is best for very mild dandruff in my opinion. It says that it would work on even chronic dandruff, but I highly doubt it. It is mild enough that it does not leave my husband with any adverse reactions also so is a keeper in our household and at the price I am not going to change.
