| bigtrouble54's Full Review: Sudafed Cold & Sinus |
It seems I can never find the right place for my reviews lately...at least this one has the correct brand name...sorry if it's in the wrong place!
I really hate getting old...my hair is turning gray and falling out, my skin is sagging, and my sinuses are giving me more problems than ever!
So far I haven’t found a solution that really works for the first two problems...but for sinus pain at night, I found the answer!
Sudafed Maximum Strength Sinus Night Time plus Pain Relief is a wonderful thing! Most of my pain seems to come at night and when you have pain it’s really hard to sleep. This wonderful new Sudafed product has done wonders for my sleep patterns!
Ingredients
Acetaminophen 500 mg...Pain Reliever
Diphenhydramine HCI 25 mg...Antihistamine
Pseudophedrine HCI 30 mg...Nasal Decongestant
According to the product drug facts, this product will “temporarily” relieve symptoms of hay fever, the common cold or other upper respiratory allergies, things like runny nose, sneezing, nasal and sinus congestion, headache and minor aches and pains associated with sinusitis.
There is an alcohol warning on the box too. It says that if you consume more than 3 alcoholic drinks a day that you should ask your doctor before taking this product because of the high dosage of Tylenol...it might cause liver damage, so beware.
Now let me tell you what I personally know after taking this product...
When my daughter bought me this Sudafed I said, “yeah right...it’s going to make me sleep”. I don’t put much faith in what a product “says” it will do for you...I have to see results for myself! The first night I used Sudafed Night Time, I refused to believe it would make me sleepy...or even drowsy for that matter. I took the recommended dose of two tablets and went on with my business.
I’d say about 40 minutes later, I decided to get a cup of hot tea. When I stood up I felt like I’d been drugged, actually, it really felt like the bottom dropped out from under me! Needless to say, I didn’t get the hot tea. Instead, I went and crawled in my bed and slept soundly all night! The next morning when I got up I actually felt human! No drowsy after effects or anything. The only thing I noticed was that “dry mouth” feeling...but remember, I was thirsty before I crawled into my bed!
All in all, I think this is a great product and well worth the $6 price for a 10 day supply!
There are some other warnings on the package that you should consider when deciding whether or not to use this product yourself...
DO NOT USE if you are taking drugs for depression or emotional conditions.
When using this product:
Do not use more than directed.
Do not use alcohol or sedatives
Use extreme caution if you MUST drive!
DIRECTIONS:
Take every 6 hours while symptoms persist.
Do not take more than 6 caplets in a 24 hour period or as directed by a doctor.
Adults and children over 12 take 2 caplets.
For children under 12, consult a doctor first because it might cause excitability.
I would highly recommend this product if you have sinus problems that keep you up at night...
Take it from someone who is a believer now...get ready to go to sleep soon after you take this! Thanks for taking the time to read!
