Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride a.k.a. Sudafed! This should be labeled as a Class 1 Narcotic!! This product is too effective!! This is the major ingredient in the illegal street drug - crystal meth. Stolen by the thousands, whole truckloads have been seized for the production of crystal meth.
It used to be a few years ago that you could buy psuedoephedrine hydrochloride by the bottle. This is no longer the case. Now you can only by the product in boxes containing foil sheets of 24, 48 or 96. This product is in such demand that the price fluctuates weekly at your local pharmacy.
Sudafed works almost immediately to alleviate any congestion in the nasal passages. When your body releases histamines as a defense to an allergic reaction and your nasal passageway gets stuffy, this is the one over the counter product that can guarantee you free breathing in a very short amount of time.
The packaging contains warning labels stating you should be weary of this medication in the event that you have heart disease or high blood pressure. Sudafed will make you JACKED. I know athletes who swear by this product as a way to get "up" for a sporting event. They will take up to ten, twelve at a time. Sudafed, aside from being an effective decongestant, brings the added side effect of speed, if you use too much.
This product is closely regulated for fear that it will be used for the wrong reasons. By law, you won't be able to purchase more then three 96 packs at your local pharmacy.
I like Sudafed because it helps me restore free breathing quickly. If you aren’t used to such a medicine you may be restless or jittery. The good part about Sudafed is that you can keep popping them until your symptoms go away. I don’t advocate misuse of any drug but sometimes in the case of blocked sinuses you may desire immediate relief.
I would never recommend the purchase of this product, however. Buy the generic for Sudafed, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, and you’ll save a bundle of cash. Just remember not to take too many or congestion will be the least of your problems.
