easy use of the door
flexible configuration Cons:a little pricy, but worth the investment. The Bottom Line: Go for it! It's a product worth the money.
I purchased this gate with fingers crossed - it was a hundred bucks at Target, but the only gate that would fit the wide opening between the kitchen and den. It attaches to the hardware easily and can be detached for company or in the evenings (although it looks much nicer than a traditional baby gate). The swinging door is a plus - it's easily opened one handed. I wasn't sure how sturdy the mesh would be, but it is very strong, especially since I bought this to keep a puppy, not a baby, confined. The puppy has clawed at and jumped on the mesh, and there's not even the sign of the beginning of a hole or a tear. A very sturdy product, well designed and well made. I wish that there had been a gate like this available when my kids were young. The feet that attach to the base are very strudy as well - before my husband could attach the gate to the wall, I had it free standing to block the space. The feet held it up even when the puppy jumped up on the walls. I can see how the grouping of two to create a playpen would really work well.
