I just got back from a stay at The Mosser. I booked through hotels.com just a couple days before my stay, and paid only $75 for a room with a shared bathroom. The whole place is very clean, though the room was very small, though it did have a nice sink/towel/shelf right there so you only had to go down the hall for the toilet/shower. You can get a room with a bathroom, but it was about $30 more a night, not worth it to me. There is only one elevator in the building, so that can take a bit, but overall the place is classy, and the location is so so so perfect! Walkable to Chinatown, SFMOMA, lots of shopping, yummy coffee shops, etc. Also close to the Amtrak busstop (just around the corner) if you're getting to SFO by train. Also, the bed was really nice..low/flat japanese style, with a pillow top mattress.
