Pros:Many wires effective at blending, inexpensive.
Cons:Handle too short and edge can dig into your hand.
The Bottom Line: Inexpensive whisk with many wires that blend well. Handle a little too short though, and edge can dig into your hand.
I have relatively basic needs when it comes to cooking tools, but sometimes a whisk is just the perfect tool for the job.

~ Product Description
The Sunbeam 10” Whisk is stainless steel, including the handle. The 10” measurement is from the end of the handle to the tip of the wires. The handle itself is 4” long. This whisk features many tines, more than some other whisks I’ve seen – I guess you could say it looks “whiskier” than some of the others on the shelf, even though it was a mere $3.99.
Sunbeam tells us the flexible wires clean easily in the dishwasher, and that this whisk is ideal for blending eggs and sauce ingredients.
~ My Experience
I’ve used the Sunbeam 10” Whisk for blending eggs, making cake mixes, sauces, and blending casserole ingredients. The many wires of this whisk do a great job of blending. They are flexible and designed in a way that is very effective for mixing. The wires can take a lot of abuse without becoming misaligned or twisted out of shape.
Note that the brushed stainless handle does not have a ring or hole for hanging storage. The handle has a flat end, and is somewhat shorter than I would like. The flat end has an edge to it that can dig into my palm sometimes, so if there is a lot of whisking to do it can get uncomfortable.
I don’t have a dishwasher so I always hand wash. Whisks can be a pain to clean sometimes, but if you just at least rinse it right away, then even hand washing isn’t that hard.
The Sunbeam 10” Whisk does a good job of blending, but the handle should be longer and the bottom edge can dig into your hand. Otherwise, for $3.99 this is an okay whisk. I will recommend for occasional use on a budget.
