The idea alone "Sumersize" just reminds you that summer is just a few short weeks away. I ordered "Eat Great Lose Weight" from Amazon.com I received it Friday, by Sunday (last night 2/20/00) I had gone completely through the book and understand what I have been doing wrong all these years. TOO MUCH Sugar-Carbohydrates.
After going through the book it is now easy to see what foods need to be eat with other foods.
The book gives some samples of Suzanne and her family and how they live and ate. On one vacation it explains how she learned why some foods should not be eaten. Why it made her go back home and do some research.
Research for any diet is what is needed. For you need to know what is going to work with your body. It really is not a diet it a life style that we need to learn, how to eat what to eat and when to eat it. It is pretty much explained right here.
Starting with level one taking away the "funky foods" sugar, carbo's and slowly bring certain ones back into our life after we reach our gaol weight.
The book explains greatly how to work the two levels. I would of like it much better if it was broken down where the first half of the book has level one and second half has level two. It would make it much easier to refer back to certain part of the book depending on you level.
There are plenty of samples of how to work you week of eating and there are some really good recipes.
One other thing that I don't understand is that she says eat until you feel satisfied. I am not sure to many of us know what that means. Some times you can run into a lot of high fats but if you cook wisely there really should be know problem with fats. All and all it gives you the choice to eat what you want with the separation of protein/fat from carbohydrates, all ways have veggies and fruit eaten alone.
I would tell anyone that is thinking of trying to lose a few pounds to read this book and get an idea of where you might want to start and maybe also read some basic Weight Watchers books on portion control.
