I bought one at a garage sale, because on vacation last year, a B&B where we stayed had one I loved.
I paid $3.00 for mine, and it had never been used, but it came out of the box, with no directions to collapse it!!! I absolutely could not figure it out!!!
SO~ at the moment, it is leaning against the sliding glass doors in my kitchen! LOL
I'm SO sorry yours didn't do well! What a pain!
But, I'm SO grateful you gave detailed directions to collapse the thing back in the bag, so I can at least get it out of my way! I'm printing your review so I'll have the directions with me!
I'd even looked at sites that sold the product, hoping they'd give directions! Alas, they do not. They merely say it's 'easy'!
Only at trusty Epinions did I find your review with the info I need!

You got a whole hours worth of use with this? Amazing ... I would have been so disappointed.
