Pros: The price was right. The size was right.
Cons: It failed within 24 hours.
The Bottom Line: Avoid all combo units - when the VCR goes, the TV is useless.

| norse2's Full Review: Sylvania 6313CA 13 inch TV/VCR Combo TV |
I have had an RCA TV/VCR for several years and have spent many $ repairing it. The common symptom was that it would try to eject a VHS tape and when it could not (for some reason), the whole unit would power off. Once it gets into this mode there is nothing you can do. I tired of my problems and decided to get a different unit in a slightly larger size.
I found this Sylvania at the local Sam's Club and took it home. I loved the picture and features, but within a day, it started into the same problem that has plagued our RCA. I took it back and got the Sylvania without the VCR. I'll use a separate VCR from now on.
The combo units are convenient, but too prone to breaking. As I have shared this tale with others, I have heard similar stories. When one part goes, the entire TV is worthless.
