| wagar's Full Review: Olevia LT26HVX 26 in. TV |
Bought the unit for $499 (with a $200 rebate). This is a great TV for the money, has all the features (except for HD tuner) with a great picture and sound. I replaced a 22 year 20" TV for the bedroom.
DVD picture even with standard inputs is fabulous.
On button on unit has a blue LED that could light up an entire room in the dark. While it's nice to be able to see the on button in the dark (I suppose) this on is really powerful. There is no way to turn off this feature so I have to place a small piece of masking tape over the LED to soften the effect.
I tried calling Syntax but there is no customer service to answer the phone. I still have an email to their support group.
I purchased a 4 year warranty from Compusa for $79 in case there are problems with an off-brand TV. So far I am not impressed with the customer service.
