golfer789's Full Review: Titleist DT Solo Golf Balls
I'm an average golfer, I shoot around the 5-8 over par range for 9 holes. Three and four piece balls like the Titleist ProV1 and Nike One are not right for me, and I've tried many two piece balls and always seem to come back to the Titleist DT SoLo. I've tried the Callaway Big Bertha, Nike MoJo, all sorts of Top Flite's, Maxfli Noodle and Precept Laddie. My best rounds this season have mostly been played with the DT SoLo.
My drives with the DT SoLo always seem to be a few yards longer and my shots really stick to the greens. I've sped my swing up quite a bit as of late, but this ball helped me to make up the lost distance when I was a slower swinger. The surlyn cover is very durable and the ball will pretty much stay in great condition until it's lost. These balls are a great value, the expensive ProV1's seem to scratch and wear out very easily making golfers spend much more money to play them.
I haven't found a 2-piece ball that works as well as these. The closest would probably be the Big Bertha Blue, but I've played at least a couple strokes better with the Titleist.
