User Rating: Very Good
Pros:Cute, good for decoration or play
Cons:Clip can be tough for kids to use, not a swivel clip
The Bottom Line: This is a cute toy that is fun to clip to things as well.
My kids have been obsessed with Beanie Boos lately, a line of Beanies with large heads and large eyes. They beg me relentlessly for these cute stuffed animals, and as a treat, they have been allowed to have a couple. One of the first ones my kids picked was this Cookie Dog key clip.

I bought this a Hobby Lobby, and I believe it cost me about $2.99. You can also find this dog as a small and large stuffed animal (about $5 and $10-12). We actually do have the small dog as well. I've seen these at lots of stores, including Old Navy, gift shops, Hallmark, etc. You can find a variety of animals in the Beanie Boo line, including a unicorn, monkey, and other dogs (like a pink poodle).
This is a small plush dog that is attached to a clip. The dog is mostly white, with brown on the ears, sides of the face, tail, and part of the back, and also a black spot on the back. The dog has large plastic eyes, a furry plastic nose, and the mouth is embroidered. I can feel some grains or beads inside the main part of the body, but the rest has regular stuffing. This dog looks like perhaps a beagle, and there is a TY tag on the bottom of the puppy that says "Cookie", which is actually nice since my kids forget the names of their toys and ask me!
Cookie is attached to the clip with a satin cord, and with some of our other keychain Beanie Boos, my kids insisted that I cut off the clip, which was really easy because you can snip it carefully with regular scissors. The clip is durable, made of hard plastic, unlike some cheaper clips I have used where it doesn't stay together well. My kids need help clipping or unclipping this item, but I would rather they need my help instead of it falling off something and getting lost. I noticed that this clip doesn't have a swivel on it, like some of our newer key clips. Not a big deal, especially for a kid's toy, but the swivel clip is better quality.
"Cookie" has held up well to lots of playing as well as being clipped to various bags and backpacks. The white fur on the face and legs have gotten a little dingy looking from so much use, but it has held up well nonetheless. Probably not the best color choice for a stuffed animal that gets dragged everywhere. It would have helped if at least the feet and nose were darker than just white.
Overall, this is a very cute key clip puppy that has gotten quite a bit of use. My kids think this is super cute, and they use it both as a toy and as a decoration for their bags.
