Great concept, excellent staying power (Reply to this comment)

I have had this set since 1998 -- and have used it on a daily basis.
I would like to respond to this reviewer's comments individually...
A) I have made rice many times with this set and it always came out perfect. As far as steam burns from the lids, I have made it a practice to use oven mits when handling pots in my kitchen rather than just potholders. As a rule, I always hand wash my cookware, no matter what the manufacturer says!
B) My handles work great...I learned early on that it works best when you attach them to the pans before you put the pan on the burner (when the pan is cold).
C) I received all the plastic lids with my set and they work great. I have not had to use them too often as I rarely have leftovers to put away!
I paid around $100 for my set and I am looking to buy additional sets.
