Pros: Good price for the average user. Works well over all.
Cons: Hard to regulate the pressure regulator
The Bottom Line: Although, this isn't the best pressure cooker out there, I still find it a very good unit for the price. I would recommend the Presto over the T-Fal.

I like the large capacity and the safety features. One thing that I had to point out to my wife is to make sure the rubber gasket/seal is lined up. There is a pin to line it up with and a hole in the gasket which goes over the pin. Otherwise, steam will escape from the sides. The unit works well and stainless steel is suppose to be better than aluminum. After the seal is on correctly and you add your water, food, line up the arrows and the turn the top and it should click into place. Fairly easy to do. The pressure regulator is hard to get to spin at a consistent speed. Otherwise, it works very well. I haven't had the trouble of scrubbing that some of the other people have. I think it's important to pour in the proper amount of water. Once you heat it up and the regulator starts to spin, turn down the heat so the regulator spins very slowly. It will speed up and then slow down. I find that medium heat works well. It is very important to follow the instructions. Especially before the first use. I haven't had any trouble with cleaning it like some of the other reviews I've read. That may be due to over cooking or over heating. You just want the regulator to spin as slow as possible. Over all, I find it a good unit for the price and it definitely speeds up the cooking. I love the tender food it produces. For just a little more money, I would recommend the Presto which is a little better unit. Presto also has a very good web site. My mom was able to get a seal for her old Presto which is at least 20 years old. I bought her a new Presto and she is very happy with it.
