Drink Water, Change Your Body Fat (Reply to this comment)
by mikebilt
Re read the manual. If you're not hydrated properly and consistantly, you get the variation in readings you're experiencing. I can "loose" 4 percent body fat just by drinking two glasses of water. The measurement system is affected by the amount of water in your system.
I love mine.

Good basic information... (Reply to this comment)

...but I'd like to know more! How long have you owned the scale? How does it compare to others you've used that are similar?
You have a great start here -- the fact that it doesn't measure body fat well is very compelling, but more details would help other users make a more informed decision.

Body fat changes very slowly and if the machince was accurate in calculating body fat the numbers reported would be fairly stable. As it is, the numbers flucuate greatly everyday making it hard to know exactly where your body fat percentage actually is.

I am not sure I see what's wrong with this scale? Perhaps more details would help.
