I bought this for 15.99 at a Bi-Mart retail store and loaded it with my kids’ pictures then gave it to my mother-in-law for Christmas. I thought it would be a cool gift but it literally brought tears to her eyes. It has a slide show setting and a still or scroll function. The pictures are small but quite clear. The size is just about right for a key chain and is very durable. I haven't had mine for very long yet so I'm not sure on the scratch resistance but is hasn't gotten foggy yet and I've had it in a whole bunch of temperatures and that hasn't been a factor yet. The program that comes with it is not the best and interactivity for the computer illiterate is cumbersome. That is why if you give it to someone tries to preload it. I'm sure future versions will be better but for the price this is great for the next Christmas or birthday of a loved one... especially one related to you. With the recent news of preloaded garbage on a returned mp3 player be aware if you buy an open package that you check what's on it before you give it as a gift. Good luck.
