My son was given this tape recorder for his second birthday & it was the hit of the party!!! It is so bright & colorful & great for small hands. The microphone is the best! After a few weeks, it started getting harder & harder to hear. It got to a point where we heard nothing. I called the company & within a few weeks, we had a brand new one & a prepaid mailer for the broken one; no questions asked. Well, of course again we were excited to have this back & have our nightly sing-alongs, when it began losing it's volume again. I gave it approximately two months when I called the company again & explained the situation. The offered the same tape recorder & this time I had to say that I did not want it. They sent me a refund check for the amount of the tape recorder; again, no questions asked. If not for the great customer service and the great experience with their other products, I would seriously reconsider buying their products. But as I've always heard, "one bad apple doesn't always spoil the bunch".
