Terrible service!

Pros: Food is generally edible.
Cons: Food is not authentic. Service is terrible. Management is disconnected with the customer.
The Bottom Line: Food not authentic. Worse is the service. Management shrugged when we complained, saying, "That happens to me when I go to restaurant." Don't waste your time!

OK, we have given Tara Thai several chances -- several more than they deserve. We are an office that dines out often together, but last night at Tara Thai was the last time we will ever go there.
First, we waited too long to even see a waiter. But it got far worse. When our dinner finally arrived -- after a long wait -- the waiter only brought two of the four dinners we ordered. Those of us with dinner in front of us waited. And waited. And waited. Finally, almost 15 minutes later the other two arrived, by which time the first two were cold. That is the last we saw of the waiter.
After having been finished for a good 20 or so -- with our dirty plates still in front of us -- we finally in frustration got up to search out the waiter to see whether we could finally pay the bill.
Here's the kicker: We sought out the restaurant manager to politely complain about the abysmal service. To our great surprise, when informed of our terrible experience, the manager simply shrugged his shoulders and said "That happens to me when I go to restaurant." Save your money and save the frustration: there are too many good Thai restaurants in the area competing for our business to waste money on this place.
