Rude and terrible service

Pros: The decor was nice. But thats about it!
Cons: Never seen such rude staff anywhere else!
The Bottom Line: Horrible experience. Try Thai Farm at King Farm.

Went to Tara Thai, the food was nothing much but what upset me most was the service. The woman at the front desk and the waitress treated us as if we were intruding upon them. To add to that, we left only a 10% tip because of the rudeness of the waitress and she came and told us in a loud voice that the tip was not big enough. She asked why and we told her that we had very unfriendly service and not even a smile and she said "smile for what?" She also said that she will have to charge us more for the dishes next time we go there if we did not leave a big enough tip. Well there will NEVER be a next time. She may have thought that she would be able to put us in a spot by creating a scene to give her a bigger tip but we stood our ground and did not give anything more as we truly felt that they did not deserve it! After reading the reviews I see that there really wont be any point in my letting the management know about their staff either! I will certainly tell my friends and family and discourage anyone else from going there. Try Thai Farm in Kind Farm- good food and friendly service too!
