dek431's Full Review: Taylor Big Baby Acoustic Guitar
I was shopping for an acoustic 2 years ago i wanted a Martin, whilst trying a 0001 i spotted the Big Baby and gave it a try was impressed but salesman promised 0001 would mature better so i bought 0001. Eventually i sold it and got a Martin 00028EC then traded it for a Martin D28. Recently i was back in guitar store 2 weeks ago and spotted Big Baby... again. Had a strum knocked the price down and bought it. That's the background of 2 years to give you an idea of the instruments I'm use to. I still have D28 but she sits in her case most of the time. My big baby has a beautiful sound, not too much bass but you feel the guitar working for you happy to do anything you ask. String spacing is wider than D28 which i prefer. Its a loud guitar for the size and easy to bend notes maybe due to the scale? i dunno. Build quality is superb it doesn't feel or look as cheap as it was. All round top class acoustic. Well done Bob Taylor!!!
