Pros: Made by Taylor Made
Cons: Haven't hit it very well yet. Price
The Bottom Line: This is an okay club. Not worth the price tag if you can already hit your current driver over 220 yards.

| yarrick's Full Review: Taylor Made FireSole Driver |
I got a Taylor Made Firesole Driver about a month ago. So far I am not really sure what to think about it. Taylor Made made it so that is one good thing.
I don't know if it is worth it especially if you can hit your current driver decently. I could hit my old Wilson Prostaff Graphite shaft club normally between 230-265. I hit the occasional hook but it wasn't that bad I normally hit it pretty straight.
So far I have played about four rounds with my Firesole Driver and this is what I think about it so far. I have been able to hit the occasional good drive at a course or driving range but they are not that good. As a experiment on one hole I took two drives one with my old club and one with my new Firesole Driver. My old club hit it 40 yards farther than my Firesole. Right now I am disappointed in the results I have got from the club.
I got the club from Dick's Sporting Goods for $200. I don't think that it was worth it as of yet. At least I got a cool looking head cover.
Right now I am undecided on the club and will continue to use it for the next month and then update this opinion about how I feel on the club. I have only used it for four rounds and therefore haven't given the club enough time to prove itself to me. It might just take some getting used to on my part.
Update: Round #1
I used the club on several holes and it just didn't do very much for me. It might have just been me since it was my first round in a few weeks since I went on vacation. I only used it for a few holes. It wasn't working out and I ended up hitting irons off the tee.
Update: Round #2
I allowed a person I was playing with to hit the club and he said that he could feel the difference and thought the club helped him. He said he thought the club added another 10 yards to his drive. Maybe it is just my swing right now it is all screwed up. I would like to say that I hit my drive with an 8 iron about 5 yards shorter than the kid that used my Taylor Made, but he did hit it into the rough, and I hit mine into the fairway.
