Pros: Decent flavor, Great aroma
Cons: The peach flavor definitely isn't strong enough
I never realized just how much I enjoyed tea until I moved in with my fiance about 6 months ago. She had already been a fan of tea and liked to drink it prior to going to bed at night. While she would typically drink those that were low in caffeine, I opened her up to drinking all sorts of types of tea and experimenting a little bit with them.
Now that she has me drinking tea I have become hooked. We drink tea EVERY single night prior to going to bed. Because we drink so much tea we have now become somewhat selective in our tea choices. We don't drink the low quality teas anymore and really try to avoid all teas that come from the grocery store. We found that it was definitely worthwhile to pay more for a good quality tea because the difference was going to be quite obvious. This is when we discovered the great taste and aromoa of Teavana teas.
TEAVANA PRECIOUS WHITE PEACH WHITE TEA
This tea is a pretty basic peach blend. It stays true to the white tea flavor moreso than the peach infusion. This is one that is made more for those that are looking for a traditional taste of white tea with just a splash of flavor. I personally felt this was a decent tea but nothing that I really think is worth the high price that it costs. It is definitely a more expensive tea even for white teas.
HOW WE DRINK IT
This is a pretty good tea to drink on ice. The peach flavor definitely has to be enhanced prior to adding it to ice or it will be incredibly week if not noticeable at all. I personally like to cut up pieces of fresh peaches and add them directly to the pitcher and let it sit over night. When I do this my five year old son really enjoys the tea as well.
This tea really tastes best with raw sugar. I have tried honey with it but I don't particularly like the way the honey blends with the peach flavor. This just doesn't do anything for me.
If you drink the tea hot you are going to enjoy it as well. We typically use this on ice because the flavor just seems to taste that much better but if you are more into hot teas you aren't going to have any issues with this one tasting wonderful.
The aroma is pretty nice. It has a smooth peach smell that lingers but isn't overpowering. I think this tea is one of the best air fresheners that I have ever had. While you can smell the vegetal aspect of the white tea you can really smell a bit of the peach fragrance that is just enough to draw you in but deifnitely not overly strong at all. Great smell.
The flavor of this tea is more geared towards the white tea lover. It does have a peach flavor but it isn't strong enough to really call it a peach flavored tea. In order to get the best flavor out of the tea you really need to double up the dosage of it. The peach flavor isn't nearly as strong as I would like it to be but overall the tea has a decent flavor but not something I would pay the money for. There are far better teas for the same price that are more full flavored than this one.
This is a white tea so it is low caffeine and can be consumed at any time of the day. I personally drink it at night because it has a really nice aroma to it that relaxes me. The flavor isn't anything spectacular but with sugar and a splash of cream it makes an excellent night tea.
