Because of chronic bad problems, and after consulting with my doctor and gym trainer (not in that order), I decided to take the plunge and hang on this thing.
While I hate putting anything together, and I don't like to be fooled by terms such as "EZ Assembly" or "ready to assemble", this unit was not much of a problem.
The video helped a lot and I set it up based on my height and got to use it. My recommendation is not to go completely perpendicular, as this causes pressure that I wasn't comfortable with. Once I set the angle (think of the 7:05 clock or the 8:10, it really works. I did a series of tilts lasting anywhere between 30-90 seconds. It stretches the spine and improves circulation.
While I recommend that you use this machine as recommended, I have improvised an additional use by being able to do abdominal work as well. While your ankles are tightly held, you can lift the torso and your abdominal area is subjected to an isolating workout.
Very happy with my purchase, but be aware that if you decide to move this machine to another area, it does not clear the door openings and must be disassembled and re-assembled. So hold on to the manual, and keep every bolt and screw labeled.
