Pros: The mattress is so heavy, it couldn't possibly move.
Cons: Like sleeping in hot lava. Even when new, has a hammock effect, painful to backs.

| rhb15's Full Review: Tempur-Pedic Swedish Mattress |
On July 18, 2003, I bought a $1,500 Tempurpedic mattress and was lied to about the store's return policy. The Tempurpedic mattress should never be sold to anyone who has a back problem. There should be a sign required by law that says this. It does conform to your body, according to your body's temperature, but also according to your body's mass, thus making your entire body sink into the mattress in a hammock effect. It does not provide any support at all. It does have one good quality, and that is it has no pressure points, and once your body settles in a position you will stay there all night. But for someone who has a back problem, this fact is a disaster. Also, the mattress absorbs your body temperature and this makes it extremely hot to sleep on. It does not 'breath.' It is like sleeping in hot lava. When I tried to return the mattress, Tempurpedic could not have been less sympathetic. Their policy is just to sell as many mattresses as they can, and they have no interest or concern regarding the customer's needs, once the product is sold.
