We paid $1800 for our Queen size tempurpedic. I must admit the mattress is more comfortable than your standard box spring/mattress set. HOWEVER, the box spring set up on our tempurpedic is JUNK!! Four months after purchase, the entire box spring frame broke! My husband and I got into bed one night and heard a crack. One of the support boards broke from the side and the remaining particle board peieces cracked in half. It wasn't long before all the support pieces in the box spring cracked in two and crumbled! I tried to call the store where I bought it from, I was directed to the Tempurpedic Customer Service 800 number. They were supposed to send me a claim form via email as my bed was still under warranty. I am still waiting for that email after 2 phone calls in three days!!!! For a high priced "quality" bed system, they skimped on the most important part of the bed: the box spring. It is cheesy compressed particle board that a child could break with their bare hands. So the next time I see a commercial that says "let me tell you about my Tempurpedic" please remember this review. i would not reccommend this bed to anyone.
