Pros: the first generation was great
Cons: the second generation is much softer, really bad for me
The Bottom Line: if you want a relatively firm mattress w/ lots of support, I think this 2nd generation will disappoint you. I am glad I didn't sell my first one.

| zeroch's Full Review: Tempur-Pedic Swedish Sleep System |
contrary to one of the previous one-star reviews, my main complaint is that it's too soft. I purchased one full-size from them six years ago, which is still in my house and it's still great. I purchased a king-size a couple years ago w/o second thoughts, thinking that it would be as great as the one before.
Apparently they make the mattress softer than they did before. At normal room temperature (72F) it feels like normal foam to me. When I pressed the top w/ my hand, there is no sign of handprint leftover when I removed my hand like their ad. There was no "isolated" depression - when I push down the mattress a whole large area around it sink too. Therefore when I sleep on it, my whole body "sags" into the mattress - causing back pain to me. I have to keep going back to sleep on my old tempurpedic.
This is very unfortunate as they had a very good product before. I bet they make the mattress softer because of market demand. Some folks like soft and some like hard (like me) They should have make a whole series of hardness that people could choose from. I am seriously comtemplating selling it as my back can't stand it any more.
