Pros: VERY comfy, soft, balanced. Causes good sleep. Service excellent, reliable BEFORE ordering Atleast/for-now.
Cons: VERY expen$$ive! Whatever technology, shouldn't cost so much! When its returned they throw it away.
The Bottom Line: Great bed to sleep on eventhough its *foam*. Can't say its THE best, because there might be something for over $5000. thats better.. Very overpriced foam but no comparison.

| beamerniceman's Full Review: Tempur-Pedic Swedish Sleep System |
Hello Sharing Experiences and Opinionative Fellow Folks,
After using brand name conventional beds which suppose to be the best and most respected. I always wanted something softer but still supportive. I am a slim person with no back pains, but some stomach sensitivity like Ulcer and a tiny bit of reflux so I needs support to my side and not laying FLAT on my back.. Oh, I also snore and grind teeth. So, I don't have the best sleep. I visited Rockaway Bedding who have displays of so many beds. They showed me several beds for me to lie on and "try" it in the store. I almost fell asleep on each of them... But when I got onto the TempurPedic bed (both the 10 inch thick one AND the 8 inch) I felt like sinking in and floating in clouds. I looked and checked several times if I am on a bed or if I got stuck in a spider web. It felt great. I ordered TP's video and got the sample foam.. Well, I finally took the courage to call TempuerPedic and ask for a trial use in home AND charged $1404. to my CC for a 53`` x 74`` x 8`` mattress and foundation (the foundation I HAD to order along with the mattress so I don't lose the 10/20 years warranty..).
Thank God I read reviews around here so I knew that if it arrives in the winter then the mattress will be hard since this material responds to temperature, and that this mattress has a heavy sharp smell for 2 - 3 weeks new. But I can't begin telling you how good it felt and how good I slept despite the heavy smell. I felt so rested after a night's sleep! I don't know how it did the job but when I woke up I felt that I slept like a baby. No pressure points. I was approximately at the same position and no numbness. I am still waiting for the pillows so my head too gets the baby like support. I usually fall sleep on my back, and sometimes half leftsided and half stomach. Whichever position I fell asleep and woke up I felt great. Although I snore, here I SLEPT with no waking up!
Now!, I unzipped the mattress cover and checked to see what's going on in there and what I saw was JUST 3 1/2 inches of this fine kind of Tempur material, while the bottom part is simple foam attached to the finer foam with bumps (waves like) so it has some air flow.. My question to myself is "Should't I rather buy the overlay which is also VERY expen$$ive and add it to my usual (very good condition mattress)?" I think that this bed is too expensive for what you get for it. I am still trying out the mattress (with its foundation) since I have it for only 3 weeks now. I might return it and order the overlay. Who needs a 20 years warranty coverage for this bed; why should this bed go bad by just using it anyways?!
- There is no need to flip or rotate this mattress. In matter of fact since the Tempur material is on the upper half of the mattress if you flip it you wont sleep on the special kind of foam made of Tempur Material.
- There is no handles to assist, move, pull and etc on this mattress.
- There is an extra edge support on the "foundation" (springbox like), but none on the mattress. Although it is covered with a terry like material, closed with a surrounded zipper. This terry material cover must be on at all times, since the foam/s are/is raw seen.
- They say it is covered with a 20 year warranty while EVERYTHING is covered for 10 years. I am not sure what is covered for 10 years and what is covered for the entire 20 years.
- I notice very little motion transfer from/thru this mattress? No squeaks whatsoever?
I paid for this bed for trying it, and if I don't like it enough for what it costs I will return it. Well, eventhough I think it should cost less (because its made very easily. Not much work goes it to put together such a mattress [I understand the research to come up with the technology]), but if I can't get from any other bed (that is cheaper in price) that what I can get from this TempurPedic bed, then I will go along with this high price and stick with it, because I don't want to get back to something that does NOT mold to my bodies shape so nicely and so softly but yet not as clay. Too bad we have to pay their advertising costs and copyright monopoly.
I will come back and tell you when I get the pillows and tell you the difference between sleeping on a conventional pillow (should it be goose, down, foam, feathers) and the TempurPedic material (conventional) looking pillow that I should receive in another while as a bonus from TP for ordering/buying/trying their 53x74x8 Inches.
-->> I am now wondering the comparison between the TempurPedic bed to a Duxiana. Anyone knows can comment please?
