This guy is as cute as he can be and has his own special branch on our family's prelit artificial Christmas tree. 

My husband is a huge fan of the Tennessee Titans (also TN Vols) and has received many gifts with their logo stamped or printed on them.  He has clothing items, knick-knacks (or what I call knick-knacks), an autographed football, key chains, bobble heads, and just all sorts of things, but this was his (our) first Tennessee Titan Christmas tree ornament.

A little information about the Tennessee Titans football team.

The Houston Oilers (Texas) came to Tennessee in 1997 and were known as the Tennessee Oilers for two years and then the name was changed to Tennessee Titans.  My husband lost his mind when he found out Tennessee was to have a professional football team.  Players like Jevon Kearse, Frank Wycheck, Kevin Dyson, Eddie George and Steve McNair were names we heard a lot of during football season.  Over the years, those names changed but the one constant was a love of football (and the Atlanta Braves). 

The Tennessee Titans football colors are Navy Blue, Titans Blue, Red and White.  These colors are represented in the 3 inch poly resin Lil Fan Player Ornament.  The helmet is outlined in navy blue and the face guard has alternating navy blue and white stripes.  There are 2 navy stripes down the center of the helmet and on each side is the Tennessee Titans logo.  The logo, outlined in white, is a large T in a navy blue circle surrounded by 3 stars (similar to the stars on our state flag) with a trail of Titan Blue and red flames favoring the shape of a comet.

The jersey is Tennessee Titans blue with the navy blue numbers 00 on the back and the pants are white.  The arms and face are tinted to a light skin tone, some may call it a very light peachy color, but I would describe it as more like someone who is very fair skinned.  The eyes and shoes are black and the football is brown with the Tennessee Titan logo on the front where it's easy to see.  Each shoe has 4 raised "bumps", or cleats, on the bottom.

The gold hanging loop on top of the helmet is over 2 inches long and I suppose you could hang it on your tree without a hook but I prefer using a matching gold hook.  The Tennessee Titans NFL Lil Fan Player Ornament weighs 4 ounces, is 3 inches in length and hangs nicely with my other Tennessee Christmas ornaments.

I don't know how much was paid for the ornament but saw Amazon has it for around $12.

Definitely recommended for all sports fans.
