Cons:Too easy, and repetitive.
The Bottom Line: It's good for a rental but I'd be hard-pressed to pay $40 for Army Men. It's a good game for kids if you don't mind the cartoonish violence.

Despite the many negative reviews I've seen, I decided to rent Army Men Advance for a couple of nights, and found it to be somewhat better than many reviews claim.
Army Men's graphics are not stellar; the quality is equivalent to a 16 bit machine such as SNES or Genesis. The sound effects and music are nothing special.
The gameplay is a bit mindless but fun: you run through the playfield shooting up bad guys, finding keys, opening doors, etc. If I were to have any complaint it's that the game is quite easy. I'm not a great game player, yet after a couple of hours I was already through the first 5 levels.
