This volume includes three Pippi books in one:Pippi Longstocking, Pippi Goes on Board, and Pippi in the South Seas. These were among my favorite books when I was younger and I highly recommend them to any young reader or parent of a young reader.
Pippi lives the dreams of most children, with no parents to tell her what to order her around,a horse that stays in the house with her, and the spunk to say and do what she wants. The tall tales she tells, which should amuse any child, often turn out to be true, which sets these stories apart from a lot of children's literature.
