I like listening to new artists who have real talent and listening to this CD convinces me that Angie Aparo is definitely very talented. I'd seen him in concert at some small club a few years ago where he played an acoustic set. I was expecting to enjoy this CD, but every song is so good it totally blew me away. He sounds nothing like anyone else on the airwaves these days - which is in itself quite refreshing. My favorite song is "Gravity" followed closely by every thing else, and I must say it's hard to say there is one favorite above the others.
According to his website (www.angieaparo.com) he'll be touring with Matchbox Twenty this summer during their club concert tour. You won't be disappointed if you catch his performance at one of these shows, or if he's playing a show by himself.
There are very few music groups or artists that I really like well enough to keep up with them - Led Zeppelin (when they were a band), REM, Alice in Chains, and now Angie Aparo.
